Nations top selling saltwater boat builder committed to recreational angling, marine conservation

Columbia, S.C. – CCA South Carolina and Sea Hunt Boat Company have announced an extension of their ongoing partnership in conservation. With this announcement, Sea Hunt Boats will continue as the Official Boat of CCA South Carolina for 2015 as well as the presenting sponsor of the organization’s popular 2015 Banquet Trail, uniting thousands of recreational anglers across the Palmetto State.

“This partnership is achieving every goal that we set when we first discussed our vision with Sea Hunt in 2014,” said Richard Berry, State Chairman of CCA South Carolina. “This is a relationship that has drawn on the best of private industry, public stewardship and our sporting tradition to enhance South Carolina’s coast. We are proud to be working with Sea Hunt Boats to not only create new marine habitat, but to advance the science of habitat restoration, marine fisheries conservation, and recreational angling opportunities.”

The partnership with Sea Hunt Boat Company will allow CCA SC to continue providing vital funding for grassroots driven marine habitat projects and in turn creating additional access to South Carolina’s robust recreational fisheries. As an innovative leader in the industry, Sea Hunts Boats is committed to giving its customers the most boat for their money and strives to be the best value in the marine industry.

“CCA South Carolina and Sea Hunt Boats are natural partners in conservation,” said Bubba Roof, Jr, President of Sea Hunt Boat Company. “Since our beginning, Sea Hunt has been committed to being a good corporate citizen and supporting the communities where we live and work. We’re proud to support CCA South Carolina in their efforts to improve not only the quality of life in South Carolina but quality recreational fishing and boating opportunities to the citizens of this state.”

“This is a commitment that is deeply appreciated and understood by all sportsmen, particularly by the marine recreational angling community” said Scott Whitaker, executive director of CCA South Carolina. “Our partnership with Sea Hunt Boats will enhance the important impact recreational anglers have in the conservation and sustainable management of our state’s marine resources.”
