Captain Justin Hubbard – Reel Shallow Charters

I am a true Native of Charleston SC. I grew up as an avid outdoorsman. Hunting, boating and fishing have been a big part of my life. I started fishing in the Charleston waters at a very young age with my father. As my love for fishing grew as did my dreams of becoming an inshore Captain. I took this vision and ran with it. When I won my first tournament in fourth grade, I knew I would make this life long dream a reality. I have experienced fishing in NC, FL, the Bahamas, Mexico, and Costa Rica as well many different styles of fishing. Not only is fishing a hobby and career, but a lifestyles that I wish to promote.
I am a supporter and active board member of the CCA East Cooper Chapter as well as an active member in several other charitable foundations.Let me guide you to a memorable experience through the winding creeks of the Barrier Islands surrounding the historical City of Charleston SC.

Captain Amy Little. – Fine Lines Charters

I’m a Charleston-born girl who grew up fishing these local waters of Charleston, SC. I completed my OUPV captain’s license requirements this year, after many years of fishing with my dad and friends. My targeted species are Redfish, Sheepshead, Flounder and Trout, and I’ve placed in many fishing tournaments.

I also provide fishing lessons for both kids and adults, from the novice to the intermed iate fisher. Lessons are suited toward the angler’s needs. It is a great way to get your kids interested in a fun hobby. Lessons are given on the dock, and rates are $30 for 1 hour and $50 for 2 hours for 1 angler. Multiple lesson packages are also available. I look forward to putting smiles on the faces and fish on the lines of all my anglers! Come on and let’s fish! Please feel free to email me with questions. – Captain Amy Little

Captain Mike Able Jr. – Able Minded Charters

You could say I was born to fish. Following in the footsteps of my dad, who has owned and operated Haddrell’s Point Tackle in Charleston since I was a kid, I grew up fishing every chance I got. My dad had me out on the water before I could even walk, and I won my first tournament when I was just three years old. This tournament win sealed the deal: I was addicted to fishing. I haven’t done too many tournaments since I was young, but I do fish the “Lowcountry Red-Trout Tournament” annually. The Red-Trout benefits those with cystic fibrosis, so not only does it provide a lot of fun and great sportsmanship, but it’s for a great cause, too.

My dad taught me everything I know, and I feel lucky to have learned so much from him. I’ve always enjoyed fishing with others and teaching them how to do things, so I decided to become a guide so I’d have the opportunity to share the know-how that my dad shared with me with anyone wanting to learn. I’ve been guiding since the Fall of 2005 and absolutely love it. Whether I’m teaching a first-timer the basics or fishing alongside an experienced angler, it’s always a ton of fun. Kids always add to the experience, and I encourage you to bring them along, too. When I’m not working at the tackle shop, in class, or guiding, I’m fishing for fun. My dog, Riley, enjoys joining me on adventures, too

Captain Graham Hegamyer

Our primary fish will be the Redfish (spottail bass or Red Drum). This species is an incredible sportfish as it has both speed and strength. They can live upwards of 40 years, reach close to 100 lbs, and live in waters from Texas to Virginia. Because of these reasons, clients will never be allowed to keep/kill redfish. NO EXCEPTIONS.

When the conditions are correct, we will be able to sight fish for reds in shallow water. This style of fishing is without a doubt the most exhilarating way to catch a redfish. We will also be fishing backwater areas around the Wando River, the Intercoastal Waterway, and north towards Bull’s Bay. I will make sure your charter is highly informative and you will be left with a greater understanding of fishing concepts.

Other species that we will catch will be trout, flounder, sheepshead, blackdrum, tarpon and sharks (seasonal). It is extremely important to me that my clients get exactly what they want out of the trip. My trips are customized to suit your level of experience. I cater to corporate groups, children, those new to the area, inexperienced beginners, beginning and advanced fly fishermen, experienced fishermen, and those seeking to challenge themselves with styles they have not fished before.

Children are always welcome and are encouraged to come.
